CLIMATE CHANGE AND RENEWABLE ENERGY
Climate change is already reshaping how we live, with serious and wide-ranging consequences.
Extreme weather events are becoming more frequent and more severe — from powerful storms to prolonged droughts, devastating floods, rising temperatures and accelerating loss of biodiversity. These impacts are forcing us to rethink how we design our communities, manage our resources and plan for the future.
If we are to safeguard life on this planet, fundamental changes are needed.
This requires a decisive reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and a move away from fossil fuels across every sector of Irish society.

School Tours
Education is a core part of what we do at Greensource.
Our team regularly work with primary schools to teach our younger generations about climate change, climate action and environmental sustainability.
We also offer the opportunity for students and educators to visit an operating wind farm. On this visit, students get the opportunity to see the inner workings of a turbine and learn about the technology that generates clean electricity.
